Laboratory of Medical Biotechnology and Nanotechnology

The laboratory carries out research on the development of new medicines and the study of the mechanisms of their therapeutic effect.

The purpose of the laboratory is to conduct applied and fundamental scientific research in the field of medical technology and pharmacology.

The main tasks of the laboratory are:

the development of biologically active substances of the components of medicines and the study of the mechanisms of their therapeutic effect.
improving methods and improving the quality of research based on the introduction of new laboratory equipment and technologies.
creation of necessary conditions for independent scientific and experimental work of the teaching staff, doctoral students, postgraduates, students, organization of workplaces, training in methods, consultations, technical assistance.

LABORATORY FUNCTIONS

Development of methods for the isolation of biologically active substances from biological objects of animal and plant origin
Conducting research on their physiological activity in various organs and tissues
Study of toxicity and side effects on the body
Development of dosages, methods and modes of administration of BAS into the body
Study of the mechanisms of metabolism and excretion of BAS from the body.
