Applications for internal research grants are accepted annually from September 1 to October 1.

The competition is held in two categories:

- fundamental scientific research (SR),

- applied research.

Requirements for the scientific team:

- the number of at least 2 people (executor and head) and no more than 10 people;

- the proportion of team members whose age does not exceed 35 years (for doctors of sciences – 39 years) should be at least 50% of the total number of team members.
